New Delhi: The 14th season of the Indian Premier League has been canceled halfway through. As the tournament progressed excitingly, Kovid canceled the tournament with a strong spread. Many of the best performances had already been born in the tournament. However, the BCCI was forced to cancel the tournament after Kovid overcame his biobable security. Former Indian opener and presenter Aakash Chopra has been named in the top six performances of the tournament so far.
Mumbai Indians' Kieron Pollard's batting performance against CSKA was Akash's first choice. Pollard scored 87 not out off 34 balls. For Pollard to help Mumbai win the match.
Secondly, Akash chose RCB's AB de Villiers' performance against KKR. He scored 76 not out off 34 balls. This season has seen ABD break down with his old form, filling the cell as an ageless fighter.
Akash opted for the third century against Rajasthan Royals by RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal. Devdutt Kanni scored his maiden IPL century. He scored 101 not out off 52 balls. Devdutt and Virat Kohli put on 181 for the opening wicket. RCB beat Rajasthan by 10 wickets in the match. Virat Kohli also scored a half century in the match.
Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson's century against Punjab Kings was Akash's fourth best. Though Rajasthan lost the match, Sanju scored 119 runs. In his debut match for the captaincy, Sanju was seen batting brilliantly. Sanju's batting performance came after chasing 220 runs.
In the fifth over, Aakash opted for a century by Rajasthan opener Jose Buttler against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Buttler scored 124 off 64 balls. Butler's century was against Hyderabad, who had the best bowling line-up. It was Butler's first IPL century.
Lastly, Akash was selected by Punjab Kings skipper Mayank Agarwal for his 99 * runs. Mayank's 58-ball knock against Delhi. Punjab lost the match but Mayank was selected as the man of the match.
